Rabbi: Creating Sacred Moments & Awesome Rites of Passage
I enjoy working with a child who is coming of age and craving an opportunity to teach the torah (both actual Torah and their creative interpretation of it) they have been learning to their friends and family in a ceremony that is vivid, meaningful and honoring of Jewish tradition.
The student wants to express who they are and why they have undertaken this rite of passage to mark them entering into the Jewish community as a person capable of contribution, creativity and communal caring.
I am open to working with the whole family, parent(s) / grand(s) and others as we create a ceremony – with the student at the center – leading their community in prayer, study and simcha, celebration.
The setting could be in Israel, on a mountain top, a backyard or a synagogue of course.
Price includes 4 sessions, typically done via zoom, and the ceremony itself. Please see “sacred-making” on my website for details. https://www.thisisras.com/sacred-making.
